Cable connectors: 30cm cables,SMA male - Iridium, SMA male - GPS
Product narrative: The BootLIP is yet another addition to our range of Iridium based antennas and consitutes another important development from Multiband/Webb Industries.
Designed as an alternative to using mag mount antennas which can be easily removed, this antenna has an S shaped bracket connected directly to the PCB which is mechanically attached to the edge of a metal sheet i.e. the bonnet, truck or hood of a vehicle. The metal connection ensures excellent groundplane plus the cables are hidden inside the vehicle without having to drill any holes..
Further, the antenna is very small and uses the same board as is used in the popular VENUS antenna.
The standard BOOTLIP product are Iridium/GPS only.

Mounting & Performance
This double patch based antenna is designed to be installed on the edge of the hood/bonnet of the car. It does not require a drill-hole and is mechanically attached to the edge. This 2 screws hole the light antenna soundly in position and is only removeable if the hood/bonnet is opened. The design is an alternative to using a magnetic antenna which are subject to vandalism.
Cable and connector options available but subject to MOQ.
Cable Length& Connectors
The antenna comes with 2 x 30cm cable, RG174 with SMA male on Iridium and RG174 with SMA male on the GPS.
