Product narrative: The BLIP is another addition to our range of Iridium based antennas and consitutes another important development from Multiband/Webb Industries.
Designed with container and heavy plant applications in mind, the BLIP antenna can be installed on metal or plastic/fibreglass roofs and has the added benefit of being side or bottom fed. The flanges are designed to work with a double sided pad or screws/bolts for installations - it does not use the standard through hole nut and thread.
Further, the antenna is potted and thus is highly watertight.
The standard BLIP products are Iridium/GPS and Iridium/GSM/GPS

Mounting & Performance
This single patch based antenna is designed to be installed on a flat surface/vehicle roof within 4-6 metres of the modem and use LMR 240 jumper cables in conjunction with the standard 30cm pitails. The mounting surface needs to be flat, and preferably metal. Use either VHB tape or prepare 2 screw holes in the flanges.
Cable and connector options available but subject to MOQ.
Cable Length& Connectors
The antenna comes with 3 x 30cm cable, LMR100 with SMA male on Iridium and RG174 with SMA male and FME female on the GPS and GSM respectively.
