Product narrative: The FLATKOOK development has proved to be our most versatile Orbcomm antenna to date. Using narrowband radiators at both Tx and Rx, we offer a very small antenna package with unexpectedly high gain. The design is such that it can be integrated with GSM and GPS or 2.4GHz and GPS.
Lastly, although the production version requires a 50cm by 50cm groundplane, the FLATKOOK can be tuned to work on a groundplane as small as 13" diameter.

Orbcomm Relative Performance
Optimum 70% relative to a 1/2 wave. Performance is effected by 1-groundplane size,2- grounding and 5-cable lengths
Mounting
The antenna needs to be installed on a metal surface, performance will vary unless groundplane is stable. Minimum suggest groundplane is 18"x18" however, the antennas can be tuned to work on smaller groundplanes.
